The Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County (MHA) is grateful for an $11,000 grant it received from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation. In November, NCCF announced MHA as one of 17 recipients of its latest round of Fall Community Benefit Grants. NCCF Board member Adam Dimitri presented the award to MHA Executive Director Michael Nordin and Grants Manager Michelle Colaiacovo during the foundation’s celebration of Community Foundation Week in Dunkirk. Nordin says the grant will cover the costs for rent and supplies for its north county program for all of 2026. MHA’s North County recovery center is at Grace Lutheran Church, 601 Eagle Street in Dunkirk and is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
