PennDOT Reduces Interstate Speed Limits Across Northwest Pennsylvania

OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is temporarily reducing speed limits on all interstates in the northwest region as snow and ice impact local travel.

According to PennDOT, the 45 mph limit applies to Interstate 79 from Mercer County to Erie County and Interstate 80 from the Ohio state line to Exit 45 in Clarion County. The restriction also includes the entire length of Interstate 90 and Interstate 86. In Lawrence County, the reduction affects Interstate 376 from the Interstate 80 interchange to the Ohio border.
