As students begin to think about what comes after school, skills and trade jobs are rising in popularity for career choices.
AJ Scalise can’t wait to start a career as an electrician, “There’s so many job opportunities, a lot of ways to make money and I love it.”
He is a senior at Seneca High School and has been taking courses at the Erie County Technical School.
According to Scalise, “Being at the Tech School, you get to go out and try different things and different opportunities, and then you can still go on and do post secondary education. So if I wanted to go to a trade school after this with a lot of experience or even if I wanted to go to college, I could still do that.”…
