Jamestown Man Sought for Probation Violation Found in Bedroom

A Jamestown man who was wanted for a probation violation was taken into custody after he was located inside a bedroom at a residence on the city’s north side Thursday morning. Jamestown Police and Chautauqua County Probation officers responded to the scene at about 9:30 AM to find 32-year-old Cody Reichenbach, whose probation was related to charges of 2nd-degree burglary and 3rd-degree criminal mischief. Reichenbach allegedly refused multiple verbal commands to exit, and officers forced entry into the bedroom and took him into custody after a brief physical struggle. In addition to his outstanding probation warrants, Reichenbach was charged with resisting arrest. He is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail.
