A Nashville man on a journey across all 50 states made his way through Pennsylvania on Monday.On the 101st day and 43 states into Noah Coughlan’s cross-country journey, he arrived in Erie.

Coughlan stopped in every town along Route 20, escorted by local and state first responders, with supporters lined up to cheer him on. “I saw that he was super close, and I’m like, alright, we need to be out there to see him,” said Elaine Gratto, who lives right along the state line.
Noah was running his fifth and final trek across the last 14 states, starting in Kansas and ending in Hawaii on the Fourth of July. Noah described his run as more than just a journey, but a tribute to our country. “I wanted to honor our existence as Americans going into the 250th birthday, so I’m going across America. This is called Run for America, a tribute to the American people,” said Coughlan.

In divided times, it wasn’t about right or left; It was about unity and the celebration of our country’s milestone anniversary. “It’s not political, it’s not about political parties or who’s right or wrong, it’s just merely a celebration of who we are as Americans, and this is my way to do something special for the country and make history at the same time,” said Coughlan.
