Two charged with starving cattle

UNION TWP. — Two people are facing felony animal cruelty charges alleging they starved and mistreated cattle on a farm in Union Township.

William Marshall, 73, of Trailing Pine Road, and Rhonda Curcione, 68, of Hunlock-Harveysville Road, are accused of neglecting herds of cattle, chickens and horses at Marshall’s farm, according to court records.

Several cattle carcasses and a dead horse were found by humane officers on the farm in October and November, court records say…
