Recently there have been many residents experiencing a delay in mail delivery and pickup. The Postal Service provided this statement as to why some residents may be experiencing these delays.
“The Postal Service’s goal is to deliver the mail, but safety remains our top priority. As most areas in and around Erie continue to recover from the recent storm, postal carriers will make every reasonable attempt to deliver mail where it is safe to do so.
