A Brocton woman has been sent to the Chautauqua County Jail after she apparently tried strike someone with her vehicle on Friday. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Brocton address shortly after 6:00 PM for a well-being check after someone received text messages from 60-year-old Cherilynn Schlemmer that were concerning in nature. An investigation into the matter discovered that Schlemmer allegedly intentionally drove the vehicle in the direction of another person with intent to cause serious physical injury. Schlemmer was arrested and later taken to the jail on charges of 1st-degree attempted assault and endangering the welfare a child. She is being held on $150,000 bail…
