(WJET/WFXP)– The Millcreek Township man who found himself in a standoff with local and federal law enforcement in May 2024 has been handed his sentence.
According to court documents, 41-year-old Timothy Tressler was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison and three years of supervised release on January 28 by Judge Susan Paradise-Baxter.

In addition to the sentence, Tressler will have to forfeit all of his firearms, including two machine guns, 54 auto sears and a lightning link machine gun conversion plate.
Tressler pleaded guilty to one count of criminal possession of a machine gun in August 2024 to avoid a grand jury indictment.
