Franco’s Cafe, formerly of the Renaissance Centre on State St., had its soft opening Feb. 3 at 416 State St.
“I love it,” said Larry Franco Sr., who said his son, Larry Franco Jr. will run the place. Franco Sr. has managed the business for 15 years. It took more than a year to build out the new spot, which has 1,850 square feet. The old place, tucked behind a men’s clothing store, had only 850.
The new place, once established, Franco Sr. said, will be open Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It has a similar menu, expanded somewhat now that they have room for fryers. It includes breakfast and lunch…
