Northern Ohio Weather Alert: 2 to 5 Inches of Snow and Blowing Snow Through Friday Night

Cleveland, Ohio – Drivers across northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania should prepare for deteriorating travel conditions Friday as snow, gusty winds, and possible snow squalls move through the region ahead of an Arctic front.

According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Friday morning through early Saturday for Cuyahoga and Geauga counties in Ohio, as well as southern Erie County in Pennsylvania. Snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected in the Cleveland metro and surrounding suburbs, with slightly higher totals of 3 to 5 inches possible south of Erie.
