Erie County may be getting a new homeless shelter by the end of the year.
It’s all a part of a new initiative called Hope Starts Here that works to expand access to shelter, stability and long-term housing solutions in Erie County.

The new shelter, Helping Hands, is still in its early phases of development, but it will work to provide those who are homeless with eventual stability.
