The Chautauqua County Board of Elections is reminding voters who intend to change their party affiliation before the June primaries that their application must be received no later than next Saturday, February 14th. The Board of Elections office will observe special hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Board of Elections is open daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM during the week and would like the public to be aware that changes submitted through the New York State DMV must be made by Friday, February 13th at 2:00 PM in order for the DMV to transmit the data to the Board of Elections timely. The DMV’s online system will be taken offline at that time for scheduled maintenance.
