The Community Blood Bank will be hosting two blood drives to honor local survivor Avery Dalrymple. Avery was in a serious traffic accident and was saved because of the blood donated during a medical emergency. She received 13 units of blood and various surgeries.
There will be a blood drive on Feb. 13 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis Street in Youngsville, PA. A second blood drive will be available on Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Community Blood Bank, 2646 Peach Street, Erie PA.
