HAYFIELD TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Crawford County cold case dating back to 1981 has been solved after state police say the victim’s husband admitted to killing her more than four decades ago.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Troop E Meadville Station, 76-year-old Clinton Rogers, of Saegertown, allegedly confessed on November 26, 2025, to choking his wife, Lonene Ray Rogers, to death in January of 1981.
