A local chocolatier cut the ribbon on her new chocolate shop just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Julie’s Sweet Treats, located on 6 East Main Street, is officially open for business and is celebrating its grand opening Friday through Saturday.

The owner of the sweet shop, Julie Donaldson, said that this is a dream come true and that she hopes to share her joy with the community.
“I’m very excited to be finally open. We have been dreaming of this day for over 20 years, since I was a kid. Its always been a goal to have a storefront,” said Donaldson. “We would love for everyone to come out and support our local business. We are very much community-oriented, so we love being in North East and hope the community loves us just as much as we love being here.”…
