Now that Millcreek residents have cast their vote for a new form of township government, the transition process is underway.
In a 3-0 vote, the township supervisors created a government transition committee to act in an advisory role to the supervisors as the transition occurs.

The new government is a “manager council system,” allowing five members on a township council, as well as a township manager.
“Do we need to change any ordinances? Things like that. A lot of that will be cleanup for when it’s changing. Where things currently say supervisor should it actually say manager?
