Harborcreek man charged after dog found injured and with paws zip-tied

A Harborcreek Township resident who went to check on his barking dogs on the afternoon of March 3 came across another dog beyond the resident’s fence line that appeared to be in bad shape, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

It was severely injured and bleeding, and its paws were zip-tied.

The A.N.N.A Shelter was called, the zip ties were cut off and the dog — which the A.N.N.A. Shelter determined was a 4-year-old female shepherd mix named Mimi — was rushed off for care…
