The ballroom at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center was packed with supporters on Saturday night all gathering for the Police Athletic League Ball.
It’s an evening to celebrate the work and relationship building with kids, that P.A.L. has fostered since its reinstatement in 2016 after a 40-year hiatus.
What restarted in one school with two officers and 35 students, now involves 120 officers from ten law enforcement agencies, reaching 1,700 students in 27 schools and community centers.
