The City of Erie would like to remind residents that fallen branches and downed trees that have fallen on private property are the owner’s responsibility. City crews will remove branches and trees obstructing the street or that are within the public right-of-way.
Downed trees and branches in streets or within the public can and should be reported to the Streets Department at (814) 870-1340.
