Jamestown, N.Y. – Snow and powerful wind gusts are creating dangerous travel conditions across western New York, with blowing and drifting snow expected to worsen through Tuesday evening.

According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. Tuesday for Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties. Additional snowfall of 2 to 5 inches is expected, with the heaviest totals in higher terrain inland from Lake Erie. Wind gusts up to 45 mph will lead to reduced visibility and drifting snow across roadways…
