2026 Northwest Pennsylvania Maple Taste & Tour marks a sweet, state-wide tradition

The 2026 Northwest Pennsylvania Maple Taste & Tour took place across the region this weekend, with over 20 participating farms showing off their sweet, natural and locally farmed product.

“The leaves have fallen, the buds are calling for sap to open so we can have spring in Erie County, so we want to celebrate the coming of spring, and this is the time of year that the trees produce maple sap,” said Janet Woods, the owner of Hurry Hill Maple Farm.

Woods stressed that making maple syrup isn’t just about creating something sweet; it’s about preserving tradition in our area.
