Traffic on Interstate 90 came to a standstill early Tuesday afternoon due to several multi-car pile-ups within a three-mile stretch and within an hour of each other, with the highway later being shut down at the Peach Street exit.
The region is obviously no stranger to winter weather, but what started as dangerous driving conditions quickly spiraled into chaos on the interstate.
