Witness, complainant in Mimi’s torture case received threats: PSP

(WJET/WFXP)– As the investigation into the man accused of abusing Mimi, the dog found with zip ties around her legs, Pennsylvania State Police are reminding the public that only one person is suspected of being involved in the act after threats were allegedly made to witnesses.

With the discovery of Mimi back on March 3, state police said they’ve had multiple witnesses come forward about what happened, but that the person who reported the dog and at least one other person have received threats.

State police clarified in a statement on Wednesday that the person who made the complaint about Mimi and the witness has no known connection to 63-year-old Roy King of Harborcreek, who is currently facing charges for his alleged role, and that the property Mimi was found on does not belong to King…
