Presque Isle fully re-opens after wind damage

(WJET/WFXP)– Officials at Presque Isle State Park announced the park is fully reopened and ready for visitors after closing earlier this week.

The park opened up partially on Wednesday afternoon, up to Marina Road and Beach 7 and fully opened up Thursday morning.

The park was closed on Tuesday after strong winds through the weekend and into Monday caused over 60 trees to come down that blocked the roadways and the trails, along with some power lines.
