Drivers can expect smoother roads on more than five miles of roadway in the City of Erie and Corry. The re-pavement will begin on March 30, weather permitting. Motorists should be aware that there may be travel detours due to construction.
The resurfacing is a multi-year $9.8 million project that will include reconstruction, milling, paving, drainage, sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, erosion control, traffic control, guiderail and other miscellaneous construction on four routes within the city.
The entire project is expected to be completed by the 2027 construction season. Improvements will be made on Route 77 between W. Church Street and Route 426…
