GECAC has recently received nearly $165,000 in order to launch a workforce development initiative. This initiative aims at preparing individuals for employment barriers that they may encounter in the plastics manufacturing industry.
The grant comes from the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development’s Manufacturing Training to Career Grant program.
Several partners will collaborate in the program to help participants focus on job-readiness, soft skills training, and hands-on industry instruction. Within the program a job fair will be available to participants who will be able to connect with employers…
