Boil Water Order Issued in Fredonia Following Heavy Rain

An issue that Fredonia water customers have been dealing with numerous times over the last few years is happening again. The village’s Office of Emergency Management, in coordination with the Chautauqua County Health Department, issued a boil water order Friday morning for all village water customers, including properties outside village boundaries that are supplied by the water system. The order was implemented due to high turbidity levels leaving the water treatment plant.
