The City of Erie is continuing its efforts to make the area bicycle-friendly.
City council voted during Wednesday morning’s meeting on a “first reading” to fund construction of the Erie Loop Bikeway French Street Project, allotting the project $350,000.

The project’s goal is to make safe bike lanes on a ten-block stretch of French Street.
