Late Push Falls Short as Women’s Lacrosse Drops PSAC Contest at Seton Hill

GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Gannon women’s lacrosse team dropped a 15-11 decision to Seton Hill in PSAC West action Saturday afternoon at DSG Field.

The Golden Knights move to 4-8 overall and 1-4 in conference play following the loss, while the Griffins improve to 7-4 and 4-1 in the PSAC West.

Seton Hill jumped out to an early advantage, scoring six first-quarter goals to take control. Gannon responded with a late goal from Isabella Veltre (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne Central) and began to chip away in the second quarter, using a pair of goals from Alyssa Lerch (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area) to close the gap to 8-5 at halftime…
