The BOCES LoGuidice Center recently hosted its annual Spring Wellness Day, providing Career & Technical Education students with an opportunity to focus on their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The event featured a variety of interactive workshops designed to promote self-care, relaxation, and healthy habits. Students through Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES were able to select their top three sessions, creating personalized schedules tailored to their interests and needs.
This year’s Wellness Day was made possible through the support of the E2CCB Wellness Committee, along with community sponsors that include the Kosciuszko Polish Home, Moniuszko Social Club, and Dunkirk Lakeside Club.
A number of staff members, community leaders, and students contributed to the day’s success by leading workshops. Activities included POUND fitness sessions led by Alicia Eckstrom; arts, crafts, and journaling with Molly Corsi-Katta and Kelp Porpiglia; and a SPA Day organized by Lori Sam, Hogla Carreras, and student volunteers…
