The Bayfront Parkway construction has reached a major milestone in the project.
Contractors could be seen on site on Tuesday, setting beams, which are the framework of what will hold the bridges.

There are 41 beams that will be set at the State Street intersection, a part of the main bridge and the ramps that will attach to it.
The District 1 Executive Brian McNulty said the beams give a visual of what the finished project will look like.
