The incident happened at the Hidden View Amish Schoolhouse in Spartansburg on Friday, March 27, when gasoline was accidentally used to start a wood stove instead of kerosene, according to the GoFundMe organizer.
The blast severely burned a teenage teacher and two young girls, all of whom were flown by helicopter to hospitals in Buffalo, New York. One of the children was later transferred to a hospital in Rochester, the organizer said.
