Man accused putting gun in teens mouth, robbery at Titusville hotel

(WJET/WFXP)– Titusville police announced charges against a Mississippi man, accusing him of robbing a teenager at gunpoint at a local hotel.

Titusville police said they were called for the robbery on April 12, saying the juvenile victim got into a verbal dispute that escalated with 23-year-old Deon Reddix of Pascagoula, Mississippi, after a night out.

Police eventually got a search warrant for Reddix’s car and hotel room, where they allegedly found a 9mm pistol in the room, to go with ammunition and extra magazines in the car.
