One local boy is not stopping his young age from making a big impact.
Jeremiah Wilkins earned the nickname of Pickle Boy after making a routine of giving his homemade pickles to volunteer firefighters.

Wilkins said his grandmother taught him how to can and once he got good at it, he decided to share his talent with local heroes, especially after seeing what it was like to volunteer himself.
“I helped wash the trucks and participated in fire safety activities. I loved every moment of being a part of that family and I’m counting down the days until I turn 14 so that I can jump back into volunteering again,” he said. “I try to do as much as I can to give our volunteer firefighters much more recognition.”…
