Families across Erie are getting a chance to stock up on children’s essentials at lower prices this weekend as Sunflower Sprouts hosts its latest community consignment event, offering discounted clothing, toys, books and baby gear.
Owner Jen Stickle said the goal is to ease the financial strain that comes with raising young children, especially as families juggle fast‑changing needs. “We really want families to be able to say yes more often,” Stickle said. “When items are more affordable, it takes some of that pressure off parents.”
Shoppers are using the sale to prepare for the busy months ahead, picking up extra outfits for the car, pajamas for overnight visits and small games to keep kids occupied during travel. “Parents are thinking ahead,” Stickle said. “They want to be prepared for anything, whether it’s a quick trip or a weekend away.”…
