A major upgrade is coming to emergency medical services in Erie, as EmergyCare announces it will soon begin carrying blood on its ambulances a move aimed at saving more lives in critical situations.
The organization revealed that the initiative is being funded through grants from the Erie Community Foundation, making it possible to expand life-saving capabilities for paramedics in the field.
