The sign on the door of Bellizzi’s new location reads “Bellizzi’s Mafia Style Pizza: East Coast Italian Food Since 1996. We are hiring all positions.” Take a step inside, and you’ll be transported from Pearl Street to a deli and pizza shop that might conjure thoughts of your long-lost childhood.
An open kitchen allows customers to visit with the staff, and red walls, a casual bar and table seating, and even a hanging glass lamp complete the old school ambience. Pictures of staff and family members line the walls, coupled with posters of infamous mafia. It’s all coming together, just like owner Jeremy Bellizzi wanted.
