EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene police and partner agencies plan to increase enforcement along Highway 99 on Thursday, June 25, as they work to curb ongoing vehicle and pedestrian safety problems on the corridor.
Eugene Police said the multi-jurisdictional team enforcement is aimed at addressing safety issues involving all roadway users, citing a high number of fatal pedestrian-vehicle crashes in the area.
