Lane Fire Authority cuts staff, services after levy expires

LANE COUNTY, Ore. – Lane Fire Authority has cut several positions and scaled back public services after its Local Option Levy expired.

According to Lane Fire Authority, the cuts include three fire and EMS training positions, 1.75 maintenance positions, three paramedic roles and a public education coordinator. An executive secretary position was also eliminated.
