ERB finds UO committed unfair labor practices following complaints filed by campus unions

The Oregon Employment Relations Board determined that the University of Oregon committed unfair labor practices by violating one provision of the Public Employee Collective Bargaining Act, one year after the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation and the UO Student Workers Union filed separate complaints.

GTFF filed a complaint against UO in February 2025, after the union received a notice from the UO Office of the Dean of Students of an investigation for code of conduct violations after elected representatives used a bullhorn at an October rally.
