Suspected DUII driver arrested after I-105 crash damages guardrail, powerbox near Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. — A single-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 105 near the Country Club Road exit damaged highway infrastructure early Tuesday morning and led to a driver being taken into custody for investigation, according to Eugene police.

Callers reported the crash at 6:42 a.m. near the Country Club Road exit. Police said the vehicle took out a guardrail and a readerboard powerbox at the exit.

According to Eugene PD, a caller reported the driver was potentially intoxicated and took the driver’s keys away…
