SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Firefighters rescued a cat and dog from a burning RV at Eugene Mobile Village in Springfield’s Glenwood neighborhood early Wednesday morning, according to Eugene Springfield Fire.
ESF officials said that fire crews responded around 1:27 a.m. on July 8 to reports of flames coming through the roof of an RV trailer. Engine 4 from 5th Street and Centennial arrived to find a working fire. During a search of the trailer, firefighters found and pulled out the two pets. Paramedics treated both animals at the scene, and they survived. The pets are now with their owner.
