EUGENE, Ore. – A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his truck and trailer into a guardrail on Interstate 105, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said that callers reported the crash at 6:42 a.m. on July 7. A Dodge Ram towing a flatbed trailer hit the guardrail and a reader board power control box near the Country Club Road exit, knocking the box off its concrete base. A caller told police the driver appeared intoxicated. That person took the driver’s keys away before officers arrived.
Eugene Police contacted the driver, 50-year-old Jason Andrew Joseph, and gave him a sobriety test. Officers took him into custody at 7:26 a.m. Police arrested Joseph for DUI and reckless driving. He was cited for failure to drive within a lane…
