Nearly 200 musicians will gather in Pleasant Hill for instruction and merry-making at fiddle camp.
West Cascades Fiddle Camp and Workshops will be held July 20 through July 23, at Emerald Valley Christian Academy. The first camp was held in 2012 in West Fir, and has thrived and evolved, while keeping our mission at the forefront: to preserve and perpetuate Old Time Fiddling and tunes that survived immigration, wars and the Western migration, passing the love for the music along to future generations.
The faculty is comprised of fifteen highly-skilled instructors who’ll teach Old Time tunes to fiddlers, mandolin, banjo, guitar and bass players of all ages who’ll travel to Pleasant Hill from points near and far to attend the camp…
