EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon Department of Human Services announced that Jaylynn O’Hara was found on Thursday.
According to ODHS, the Child Welfare Division thanked the community for its support in locating O’Hara on July 9. The department did not release additional details about where O’Hara was found or the circumstances surrounding the case. O’Hara went missing near Alton Baker Park on June 29, ODHS officials said.
ODHS said when a child goes missing, they may be in significant danger. The agency issues media alerts in some cases to help locate missing children and assess their safety.
