Oregon, USC set for 2028 blue-chip recruiting battle

The heat is turning up in the recruitment for several 2028 prospects, and the Oregon Ducks are gearing up for another battle within the conference and along the West Coast.

2028 four-star cornerback Ca’ron Williams doesn’t have a timeline for a commitment yet, and the odds are his decision is not coming any time soon. However, the contenders in the race for the corner from Moreno Valley, California, are starting to become clear, and the Ducks are in the thick of it.

Among the interested programs, Oregon, Miami, LSU, USC and Ohio State have the most steam right now. The Trojans are the perceived favorites and got him on campus this summer, but it does appear that Williams will go through the entire process and take official visits before making a decision…
