EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County is under an air quality advisory expected to last several days as wildfire smoke settles in the area.
This comes as Eugene is set to host thousands at Hayward Field for the World Athletics Under 20 Championships. More than 1,800 athletes are set to compete over the next five days, but health officials are raising concerns about the potential impact on athletes and spectators.
