EUGENE, Ore. — Some Eugene residents may have been awakened early Friday morning by an emergency alert during a SWAT response on Archie Street.
Eugene police said officers arrived just after 1 a.m. Aug. 28 at a home in the 300 block of Archie Street to serve a search warrant. The warrant stemmed from a report police received around 11:30 a.m. Aug. 27 and an investigation by the department’s Violent Crimes Unit.
Police said the suspect, identified as 31-year-old Scout Monroe Stripedwolf, was being investigated for coercion, menacing, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of body armor…
