Iowa man arrested after disturbance at Eugene Airport TSA checkpoint

EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene police arrested an Iowa man early Thursday after officers said he tried to get through a TSA checkpoint at the Eugene Airport without a boarding pass.

At about 4:15 a.m. Sept. 3, an officer working at the airport was contacted by several employees about a disturbance involving 42-year-old Daniel Joseph Bevins of Iowa, according to the Eugene Police Department (EPD).
